Online/Distance Learners
Get a degree from your living room.
Some students cannot take classes in a classroom due to scheduling difficulties or
childcare issues. Other students may need a course not offered at their home college,
but that is offered online at another KCTCS college. If attending classes on a regular
basis during the day or evening is simply not possible with your busy schedule, we
have the solution. Using our distance learning system, Learn by Term, you can take classes virtually wherever you want.
You can also take online courses with Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College
instructors. Simply find the section you want in the learn by term class schedule and then contact your local admissions office about enrolling. Using our virtual library, online bookstore, and 24-hour help, you can finish an entire program from the comfort of your home or office.

Additionally, Southeast offers Interactive Television classes. Interactive Television (ITV) classes are courses taught at another college or are located at another Southeast campus and broadcast to your classroom. The close-circuit TV system makes it possible for you to talk to the instructor and classmates at the distant location. The class may be broadcast simultaneously to several other community colleges.
