All SKCTC campuses are remote Tuesday, Dec. 3, due to inclement weather. Faculty and staff will work remotely, and classes will be remote format unless otherwise directed by your instructor.

International Students

In addition to the general admission requirements, every non-resident international applicant whose native language is not English is required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) before being approved for admission. A score of 500 or higher on written or 173 or higher on computerized test on the TOEFL, or an average score of 81 or higher in English Language Skills on the Michigan Test is required for admission, provided that either is attained within the 18 months previous to the first day of classes of the semester for which the applicant is applying. The results of the American College Test (ACT) or Placement exam must also be submitted.

The Test of English as a International Language (TOEFL) is offered by the Educational Testing Service. Write to them at ETS, Princeton, New Jersey, 98540, USA. The Michigan Test is available at many institutions in the United States. The ACT is given in a number of countries and is administered on five test dates during the year in the United States. A placement test may be administered by the local college.

Non-resident international students must also show proof that they have their own health insurance that is payable in the United States.

This school is authorized under Federal Law to enroll non-immigrant students.
