Accelerating Opportunity

 

Accelerating Opportunity (AO) is a 3 year nationwide initiative. Kentucky was awarded an AO Grant that has forged partnerships with KCTCS, KYAE, OET, and WIA. This collaborative effort focuses on credential attainment for our students and community. SKCTC is focusing on our efforts on Allied Health and Industrial Maintenance Pathways. These pathways provide opportunities for those enrolled in our programs to earn stackable credentials that will yield to more job readiness skills.
AO is unique in that the program provides two instructors (Adult Education & the Content Area Instructor) to help facilitate learning and improve student success in the classroom.
