SKCTC Libraries Respond to COVID-19
UPDATED - March 23, 2020
The safety of our library patrons and employees is our top priority. We are following the protocol recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, SKCTC Libraries will provide services remotely. Library staff will be available to off-campus students during regular operating hours at 606-589-3209 and through our Chat with a Librarian services. Students may also reach out using our Ask-A-Librarian online form or by emailing specific library staff members. Follow @SKCTC_Library on Twitter for updates.
SKCTC Libraries have 70+ databases, available from computers and mobile devices. Sign-on using KCTCS credentials (jdoe0376@kctcs.edu/password). Students can find electronic books, reference materials, videos, academic journals, magazines, newspapers, conference proceedings, and more. Uncertain where to begin? There are 20+ Library Guides, starting points for recommended resources in particular subjects, programs, and courses. Students can also find videos about how to use all of these resources on the Library Guides page. Overdue fines for any library materials checked out at this time will be waived.
