Campus will be closed until the end of the spring 2020 semester!

The campus is closed to the general public, and all classes are now being held online for the rest of the semester. 

All campus events are cancelled including all in-person spring awards night ceremonies.  Graduation has been postponed until further notice.

Yes, there will be summer classes, and they will be online.  Financial aid is available if you qualify. Apply online at fafsa.ed.gov.

Yes, there are two CNA courses being offered this summer - one on the Harlan campus and one on the Cumberland campus. They will be offered face-to-face in June and July, subject to social distancing guidelines and the Governor’s orders at that time.

No. As of now, the normal combination of face-to-face and online classes will be offered.

Acceptance letters are going out as planned. Some students will be notified as soon as the first week of April.

Register for the classes you need this summer and for the fall semester.  You will be contacted about testing as soon as we are cleared by the Governor of Kentucky to return to the college.

Yes, as long as you continue your coursework online, financial aid will be disbursed.

The B&N bookstores are taking online orders only, and your packages will be delivered to the address provided.  Please call B&N if you need assistance or have additional questions.

Faculty and students will utilize available online resources from off-campus locations to continue classwork. These include common tools such as Email and Blackboard.

SKCTC campuses will be closed to the public through the remainder of the semester. All faculty and staff, except those designated by the college administration, will continue to work from home. Questions regarding payroll, timesheets, and student workers can be directed to the Human Resources and payroll departments.

Students who engage in off-campus clinics, internships, and similar experiential activities, must check with their site supervisor or instructor.

All campus events are canceled until the end of the spring semester, including those sponsored by external community partners.

All on campus meetings are canceled until the end of the spring semester. This also includes students with individual assistance in labs or scheduled meetings with faculty advisors.  These will be performed by virtual assistance with your advisor via phone or by e-mail. Employee meetings will also be held by SKYPE, Microsoft Teams, or some other form of technological method.

All placement test for the near future are canceled. Please check the SKCTC website or social media for future details.

Yes, you can apply online and an admissions counselor will email you when your application has been processed.
