Funding Priorities
SKCTC’s Office of Advancement works with donors to connect their philanthropic interests to the college.
Our current funding priorities are:
- Emergency Fund – Support students that have unexpected expenses or who are experiencing hardships (including flooding and disaster relief) that could keep them from continuing their education. These funds also help stock the on-campus care closets.
- Equipment and Technology Fund – Provide the latest technology and equipment for students. Expand and improve science laboratories, classrooms, libraries, and other learning spaces.
- Greatest Need/Annual Fund – This general unrestricted fund helps SKCTC support a wide variety of needs as they arise, including campus facility needs, faculty development, student success, and more.
- Innovation Fund – Make relevant, real-world education accessible to students through the development or expansion of programs to meet industry demands and empowering students to thrive.
- Southeast Scholars – Be part of a system of support for first generation college-bound 6-12th grade students who might face economic, cultural, or institutional obstacles to enrolling and completing a degree.
