Great question!
The first * is the KCTCS BuildSmart Investment for Kentucky Competitiveness fee. This
fee does not apply to Dual Credit Students.
+For students who are enrolled in online-only courses, the tuition is the same regardless
of your residency. Other fees, such as the mandatory fee and a distance learning course
fee of $20/credit hour still apply.

Teaching Philosophy: As a first-generation college graduate, Dr. Holbrook is passionate about transforming lives and creating opportunities for students, drawing on her own experiences as a single mother and Pell Grant recipient.
Fun Fact: Dr. Holbrook is a wildlife photographer and author of two children’s books!
Background: From Clay County, Dr. Conover has been teaching at Southeast for nearly 30 years, inspiring students to achieve success.

Background: A lifelong resident of Harlan County, Ms. Brock brings over 32 years of teaching experience to Southeast.
