Graduates of the Education program may transfer into a bachelor s degree program or land jobs such as teacher aide, instructional assistant, classroom support staff, or assistant teacher. Start an exciting new career at public and private schools, early care educational settings, early intervention programs, Head Start, hospitals, campus child development centers, rehabilitation clinics and recreation centers.

Under Kentucky s 2+2 Teacher Prep Partnership, you can become a full-time teacher at your own pace. Southeast has partnerships with public and private universities and state agencies to guarantee that your credits transfer.

Length of Program

You can earn an associate in applied science degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
