Swappin’ Meetin’ Rules

  1. Set up time:
    • Friday Food Vendors - 12-2:30 p.m. Friday with festivities 5-10 p.m.
    • Saturday Vendors - 7-8:30 a.m. Saturday with the Festival Opening at 10 a.m.
  2. Booth Spaces are approximately 10'x10'.
    • Tables/Chairs/Tents/Weights/extension cords will NOT be provided. 
    • WEIGHTS & WIND: It is the responsibility of each applicant to provide proper weights. This is an outside event and subject to sudden changes in weather and strong, sudden gusts of wind. Swappin' Meetin'/SKCTC is not liable for damages to person or property for any ill secured tent/booth setup.
  3. Vendor Fees:
    • Craft booth fee is $25.
    • Food booth fee is $50 for non-professionals.
    • Food booth fee is $75 for professionals.
    • Electric: $20 additional fee for electrical usage. Vendors using electricity must have an extension cord with a minimum of 12-gauge rating. We cannot guarantee electrical power for all booths. We strongly encourage you to bring a generator if possible.
  4. IF YOU ARE ACCEPTED, you will receive an acceptance letter with an invoice from Swappin' Meetin'. Vendor fees are due within 30 days after receiving invoice. IF YOUR INVOICE IS NOT PAID BY THE DEADLINE, YOUR SPOT WILL BE GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE. Pay using the link on the invoice or make checks payable to: Swappin’ Meetin’. Mail to: SKCTC/Swappin’ Meetin’, 700 College Road, Cumberland, KY 40823. 
  5. Majority of items must be handcrafted unless special clearance from the Swappin’ Meetin’ Committee. No marshmallow guns, tasers, pepper spray, silly string, sling shots, blow guns, bow and arrows, BB Guns, or poppers may be offered for sale.
  6. In accordance with Kentucky state law, ALL vendors are required to pay KY sales tax, which is 6%.
  7. Food vendors are responsible for abiding by Health Department regulations including the food permit fee. At least one person in your booth should have a valid food handlers license unless otherwise instructed by the Health Department. If you have questions about the food handlers license or food permit fee, please contact the Health Department directly at 606-573-4820. The Health Department will visit food booths on festival day.
  8. Swappin' Meetin' and SKCTC are not responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen articles or for any injury that occurs. Applicant agrees to provide all requested documentation.

  11. Any vendor not adhering to the Swappin’ Meetin’ regulations may be expelled from the festival without prior notice.
  12. The Swappin’ Meetin’ is an outdoor festival and will be held regardless of rain, sleet, snow, or sunshine.
  13. No Refunds available due to festival expenses.
