June 6 - 10 - We're from Appalachia, and we're proud of our heritage! Join us this week for an incredibly fun time learning the art of canning, making butter, gardening, story-telling, coal mining, and much more. You'll even get to meet the folks from the Wilderness Trail Wildlife Center and their furry friends who are native to this area. This camp is for kids ages 5 and up and will run 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day. Click here to register.

June 13 - 14 - Do you have a teenager who loves cars or is ready to start driving? Our automotive safety camp taught by Diesel Mechanics instructor, Darrell Walker, will teach your middle school or high school-aged kid the importance and basic skills of taking care of your vehicle. In addition, the kids will learn how to perform the Heimlich Maneuver and check blood pressure, and they will participate in fun activities related to the health sciences fields. We'll end the week with local first responders from the Middlesboro Police Department and Fire Department ... including our friendly K-9 officers! This camp is for kids ages 5 and up and will run 9:00 a.m. to noon every day. Click here to register your kids.

June 28 - 30 - Do your kids love to sing? Send them to music camp! This year, our very own admissions specialist, Rachel Grubbs, will be teaching the campers a couple of songs (complete with sign language) and will teach them about different musical instruments. The kids will put on a performance for parents and friends on Thursday, June 30, at 11:30 a.m. This camp is for kids ages 5-12 and will run 9:00 a.m. to noon. Click here to register your kids.

If your kids love the show, Shark Tank, this summer camp might be right up their alley. Just like the show, entrepreneurial and 3-D summer camp will focus on teaching kids basic business skills and strengthen their entrepreneurial mindset. Plus, they'll be encouraged to think outside the box. The box, in this case, is a 3-D printer. Campers will be able to create their own "widget" in our IDEAS Center and bring it home. This camp is for kids ages 7-18 and will run 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Click here to register your kids.
