Kids Camps
Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College - Middlesboro campus - will now offer a dynamic summer camp experience for children ages 4-14. Your child will have the opportunity to experience a summer of fun through crafts, science, technology, construction, engineering, art and so much more. Best of all, it's completely FREE! Check out the schedule and age requirements for each camp below, and then click the link to get registered.

Ideas Camp - Experience the excitement of 3-D printers!
Join us for a fun afternoon in our Ideas Center with Matt Warren learning how 3-D printers work and creating your very own 3-D masterpiece.

Photography Camp
This fun, interactive camp with Dr. Chris Stotts and Danny Vaughn will teach your kids all about composition, light, focus - the main components to creating a beautiful picture. And, of course, there will be cameras available for students to practice, but if your child has a camera or camera phone, we encourage them to bring their own.

Science Camp 
Science camp will give your kids the opportunity to become junior scientist for four days. They will embark on a series of science adventures like no other!
Monday: Astronomy with Dr. Joe Johnson (ages 9-14); Science fun with Halsey Parks and Dr. Chris Stotts (ages 5-8)
Tuesday: Chemistry with Dr. Wheeler Conover (ages 9-14); Science fun with Halsey Parks and Dr. Chris Stotts (ages 5-8)
Wednesday: Physics and Engineering with Dr. Joe Johnson (ages 9-14); Science fun with Halsey Parks and Dr. Chris Stotts (ages 5-8)

Art Camp with Jaime Corum
We are thrilled to have Jaime Corum, a renowned equine fine artist, on campus to share her love of art with local budding artists. How cool is it that your kids will learn how to paint from a famous artist!

Arts and Crafts Camp
Let your little artists join us for two days of creativity with local artist, Shelby Vaughn. They'll have a blast decorating our sidewalks with chalk, painting, drawing, and crafting.

Virtual Reality Camp
Are your kids into Minecraft, Robolox, Virtual Reality Games? Well, we are too! Step into the game and join Michael Epling and crew for two days of virtual reality fun!

Health and Safety Fair
From learning the Heimlich maneuver to doing yoga on the courtyard, your kids will have a blast this week.
Monday: Join Makenzie Corum and Becky Bowling, from Elevation Performance Studio, for a morning of exercise and learning how to create fun, healthy snacks.
Tuesday: Learn the Heimlich maneuver, the importance of hand-washing, and some fun games learning about germs.
Wednesday: We'll check out what it takes to be an EMT or fireman and learn why we should say "NO" to drugs from the Middlesboro Police Department.

Junior Carpentry Camp
Is there anything better than building something with your own hands? We invite your kids to join our carpentry instructor, Kenny Bowling, as we build and construct a bird house together. On the final day of camp, the participants will not only decorate the bird houses, but there will be a social media contest for the best design. The winner of the bird house building and decorating contest will win a $25 Visa gift card!

How does a green screen work? How do I set up a YouTube account? How do I get followers? These are all things Dakota Williams will teach your future social media influencer.

Music Camp
If your kids love to make a joyful noise, this camp is going to be a must-attend event. They will spend three days with Rachel Grubbs learning how to play a song with handbells and then perform for family and friends as well as our faculty and staff at the college.
