Commit to CompleteSoutheast Kentucky Community and Technical College has undertaken the Commit to Complete initiative, a motivational tool to provide inspiration and support for freshmen to complete their studies, leading to a degree. Sandra Brown, who directs the SKCTC Phi Theta Kappa chapter, explained that the national movement has been successful in leading students to a more disciplined approach to being collegians. Commit to Complete seminars have been held on each of the five Southeast sites as Brown, Vice President Carolyn Sundy and Dr. Lynn Moore, SKCTC president, have spoken to students. At each event, students signed a pledge card and autographed a banner. Additionally, participants enjoyed food and were eligible for door prizes and received college related mementos.
