A Time of Celebration

It was a joyful day of celebration as Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College celebrated its 50th commencement and awarding of degrees and certificates. The event was held Friday, May 8 in the gymnasium of Harlan County High School. Dr. Telly Sellars, a native of Harlan County and a faculty member at Jefferson Community and Technical College in Louisville, delivered the keynote address to the class of 2015 as nearly 200 graduates marched across the stage to accept their credentials. Prior to the graduation ceremony, SKCTC nursing graduates participated in a pinning service -- marking the completion of their two-years of intense study in the discipline.
