Southeast Celebrates Veterans Day with special programs on each campus

Southeast saluted our nations veterans today with special programs on each campus which included presentation of the colors, the singing of the national anthem, the pledge of allegiance, a moment of silence, and special words from, and to our brave and honorable veterans.

The Cumberland campus event was sponsored by the Student Government Association and the Young Republicans organization. The Honor Guard from the Cumberland VFW Post 5171 presented the colors and fired a 21-gun salute and played taps all in tribute to those who have served. Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the gallery of the Appalachian Center.
