Super Sunday 14 is a Success

Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College held the fourth Super Sunday event and College Fair on Feb. 23 in the Edsel Godbey Appalachian Center at Cumberland. The event is a statewide initiative involving all 16 KCTCS colleges and is a collaboration with area churches intended to increase the college-going rate of students of color. The Southeast-sponsored event included six local churches featuring remarks by pastors as well as music performed by area talent and choirs. Prior to the service, a college fair and dinner were held. The event attracted several hundred people and was directed by SKCTC vice president for diversity Carolyn M. Sundy.
