Miss Southeast 2013 is crowned

The annual Miss Southeast Pageant was held February 6 in the Edsel Godbey Appalachian Center at Cumberland with Mackenzie Belle Day chosen the winner. Abbey Brooke Abraham was first runner up with Allyson Renee Layne chosen as second runner up. Dr. W. Bruce Ayers, president of SKCTC, crowned the winner. Ms. Day will represent the college at the Mountain Laurel Festival and will receive a one-semester scholarship for $1,000 to attend the college. Ms. Abraham won the Best Talent award.
