Southeast named finalist for Aspen Prize for excellence, campus-wide celebrations held

Campus celebrations were held recently to share the exciting news of the selection by the Aspen Institute naming Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College as one of the top ten community colleges in the nation. Dr. W. Bruce Ayers, SKCTC president, travelled to each campus September 6 for an assembly program announcing that the college has been chosen as a finalist for the coveted Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence, the nation s signature recognition of high achievement and performance in America s community colleges.
