2011 Lillian Faye Simpson Southeast Scholarship Golf Classic

A team sponsored by Tri-State Mining Cable captured first place during the 24th annual Lillian Faye Simpson Southeast Scholarship Golf Classic held June 4 at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course at Cumberland.

The team, comprised of Bobby Warf, Eddie Leisge, Mark Lowe and Joe Eldridge, finished 16 under par to win the event.

Tri-State Mining Cable and the Dream Team, which included Denley Lucas, Rick Seals, Bryan Fleming and Chris Tolliver, finished in a tie after 18 holes. The title was determined by a scorecard playoff.

The event generates much-needed funding for scholarships which are awarded to deserving and to in-need students who attend Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College.
