Daniel Pillion

Daniel Pillion approached choosing a career the same way he approaches his coursework: with intention.

Encouraged by high school teachers and supported by his family, Daniel researched radiography before deciding it was the right path. That decision led him to Southeast’s Pineville Campus, where he is the January Student of the Month.

Clinicals quickly became his favorite part of the program. Daniel values the hands-on experience and the opportunity to work directly with patients.

Early in his college career, Daniel earned a spot on the Dean’s List and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa, milestones that confirmed he was on the right track.

He credits anatomy and physiology instructor Matthew Druin for encouraging him to pursue radiography and says his family, especially his mother, has been his greatest source of motivation.

After graduation, Daniel plans to work in general radiography before cross-training in other modalities.
