Middlesboro Student of the Month

Priscilla Goins

Growth is the word Priscilla Goins returns to most when describing her time at Southeast.

She is the January Student of the Month for the Middlesboro Campus and is scheduled to graduate in May 2027.

A business student, Priscilla enjoys courses focused on operations, communication, and public speaking. She says those classes have strengthened her confidence and sharpened her problem-solving skills. That growth is what she is most proud of.

“Seeing myself complete challenging coursework showed me what I’m capable of,” Priscilla said.

Balancing school, work, and family has required discipline and consistency — habits Priscilla has embraced throughout her college experience. She is also active in the Ready to Work program, where she enjoys supporting others and giving back.

After graduation, Priscilla hopes to continue building a business career that allows her to make a meaningful difference. She could even see herself working at Southeast one day, supporting students the way she has been supported.
