SKCTC Student Emergency Fund
The SKCTC Student Emergency Fund provides short-term assistance to students facing unexpected financial hardships that may impact their ability to continue their education.
Emergency funding may be available for a variety of situations, including:
- Natural disasters and flooding
- Housing or utility emergencies
- Food insecurity
- Medical emergencies
- Unexpected personal or family hardships
Through the generosity of donors and community supporters, Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College is able to provide limited emergency assistance to eligible students. Funding is awarded based on demonstrated need, available resources, and application review.
Students experiencing an emergency are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. While assistance is not guaranteed, the fund is intended to help students overcome temporary obstacles and remain enrolled in college.
