Walter Dick to be honored during luncheon

The Harlan County Adult Education and Academic Support Centers will host a luncheon in honor of Mr. Walter Dick.

The event is slated for April 28 in the Academic Support Center located on the Cumberland campus of Southeast Kentucky Community amp; Technical College. It will be held from noon until 1:30 p.m.

The event, according to Brenda Morris, SKCTC faculty member, is to show gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Dick. He volunteers tirelessly each day to aid our students.

He was recently inducted into the Louie B. Nunn Governors Hall of Fame for Educators. Mr. Dick was also named to the Union College Teachers Hall of Fame.
