
Southeasts HOSA Club takes home medals at the annual competition in Louisville
Members of the HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America), Club at Southeast Kentucky Community amp; Technical College, Pineville, recently won several medals during the annual conference held this year at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Louisville.The SKCTC contingent brought home three gold medals with Ali Omar winning in medical spelling; Shannon Cupp, Theresa Monroe and Samantha Ford posted a win in the public service announcements category; and Bob Yonts, Megan Payne and William Reeder won in the HOSA Bowl match.
HOSA is a local, state and national organization for students enrolled in health careers. The club is sponsored by SKCTC faculty Nancy Miles and Rebecca Lawson.
