Southeast Ugly Sweater Run/Walk sported holiday flair

Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College recently hosted the Ugly Sweater Run/Walk event on the Cumberland Campus. A field of 45 competed in the event which featured a two-mile run or a one-mile walk over a challenging course across the campus. Many participants wore their gaudiest holiday sweaters to a luncheon and later in the day to the run/walk. All proceeds were earmarked for the SKCTC GED program to defray expenses for those wishing to take the exam. The run/walk was won by Harlan County High School student Steven Engle, with the overall female winner Brittany Blair. Earlier in the day, a luncheon was held to celebrate the event and to award prizes for best apparel.
