Southeast to hold Veterans Day celebration honoring America's veterans

Join us in celebrating Veterans Day - Monday, November 11th, 2013

Cumberland campus - At 11:30 am at the flag pole in front of the Appalachian Center there will be a short program to honor our veterans. Please wear red, white and blue on this day to commemorate the accomplishments and sacrifice of our troops.

Middlesboro campus - At 12:00 pm there will be a very short program to honor our Veterans at the flag pole. We will have a student leading us in the Pledge, singing the National Anthem, and a recitation of a Poem to honor Veterans. Please wear red, white and blue on this day to commemorate the accomplishments and sacrifice of our troops.

Benham Inn - On November 9th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm the Benham Inn will be have veterans celebration.

Harlan Campus - On November 11th, at 9:00 am in front of the flag pole there will be a multitude of events including changing of the flags, singing of the National Anthem and God Bless the USA, the Pledge of Allegiance, a prayer and veteran recognition and pinning.

Whitesburg Campus - A Presentation of Colors will be held at the Belinda Mason building at 12:00 pm on November 11th. In the student lounge a memorial marathon of movies saluting our veterans will also be shown from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm.

Pineville Campus - A gathering at the flag pole will take place at 10:00 am on November 11th, to acknowledge veterans and a prayer will be offered.
