Southeast sponsors local football games through Home Team Marketing Campaign; Donates $1700 in total

Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College was the sponsor of the recent Harlan County - Knox Central and Bell County - Middlesboro football games. The college made an $850 donation to each HCHS and BCHS athletic funds. Additionally, college recruitment staff and faculty were on hand to promote the colleges various programs. Several hundred cheer cards were issued to fans, and t-shirts sporting the college logo were distributed prior to kickoff. Southeast President Dr. Lynn Moore made the check presentation to Principal Edna Burkhart of HCHS and was given the honor of making the opening coin toss. For BCHS the check presentation was made by Southeast's Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Rebecca Parrott, and BCHS Athletic Director, Steve Ely. Southeast will also sponsor a game at Knox Central this year.
