Southeast librarian Ahlstedt attends national conference

Lisa A. Ahlstedt, a librarian at Southeast Kentucky Community amp; Technical College Middlesboro, recently attended the American Library Association Conference held in Chicago where she participated in numerous seminars.

Earlier this year, she was honored by her college and the Kentucky Community amp; Technical College System as a recipient of the prestigious New Horizons Award which is given for excellence in teaching and for service to ones particular institution.

For that honor, she received a cash award and an all expenses paid trip to the New Horizons ceremony held at the University of Texas at Austin.
