SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY COMMUNITY AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE RANKED TOP TWO YEAR ONLINE SCHOOL IN KENTUCKY BY ACCREDITED SCHOOLS ONLINE

CUMBERLAND, Ky. Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKCTC) took top honors among Kentuckys community and technical colleges in a recent report by Accredited Schools Online.

The organization named SKCTC the top online school in the state in the two year college category in its recent Best Online Schools in Kentucky 2015-2016 report.

Accredited Schools Online considered several factors in selecting Southeast, including location, number of available programs, number of subject areas covered by program offerings, student to faculty ratio, percentage of students receiving financial aid, academic/career counseling services available, placement services available upon program completion, loan default rate of students, tuition and peer based value.

Out of 100 possible points in the ranking, SKCTC ranked 98.56.

SKCTC President/CEO Dr. Lynn Moore said the ranking is a huge accomplishment for the college and all of its hard working faculty and staff.

Im not surprised SKCTC was named the best! Moore said. We have awesome instructors and staff who make sure students are well served and get the educational product they expect!

Brescia University in Owensboro was rated the top 4 year college in the study.
