SOUTHEAST CHOIR CHRISTMAS CONCERT SLATED for DEC. 11-14

The choir of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College will present its Christmas concert that has been scheduled for Dec. 11 and 14.

Directed by Professor Ann Schertz, the choir will perform on Thursday the 11th at 7 p.m. at the Cumberland Methodist Church and again on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the Harlan Episcopal Church. The choir is accompanied by Clara Atkins-Pope.

Highlights of the performance will be a Spanish carol accompanied by conga drums and bass guitar as well as a stunning choral arrangement by John Rutter of the traditional Appalachian carol, I Wonder as I Wander.
The performances are free and open to the community.
