CUMBERLAND, Ky. David C. Dixon, the EPIC/TAACCCT Project Team Leader at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKCTC) recently got the chance to talk about how SKCTC utilizes integrations within the online learning system Blackboard to meet quality design standards at their yearly conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.Dixon, along with Allison White from Ohio University, were invited to present at Blackboard World on how hybrid and online programs, like the EPIC program, have to be able to constantly expand and grow with the changing marketplace while evolving standards in education must be met.
It was an honor to be asked to present at this well-known and well-attended conference. Said Dixon. There were people there from around the world all learning about ways to make the educational experience better and more accessible for students.
There were more than 150 sessions at the conference with presenters from organizations in several different counties.
