SKCTC Middlesboro Jumpstart Event

On May 15 the Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College campus at Middlesboro hosted a Jumpstart program for local high school juniors and seniors. Carlton Hughes, professor of communication, coordinated the program with Southeasts recruiter Kim Maynard along with the help of college faculty and staff. Students came to the campus and had mock advising sessions with counselors, took tours and had informational sessions. They were provided with a free lunch. The program was held in conjunction with the Kentucky AHED grant program. Here, Victoria Paige Cloud, tutorial services coordinator for the Middlesboro campus, spoke to students from Pineville High School.
