
SKCTC campuses to hold annual Breast Cancer Awareness events.
Harlan Campus-
Harlan campus will have their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Day on October 17th. The event will be held twice that day, so that all students have the opportunity
to participate. All proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Everyone
is welcome to participate. The scheduled events and times are listed below.
8:30am-9:00am Guest Speaker (Rose Daniels)
9:00am-9:30am Walk for Breast Cancer
9:30am-10:00am Balloon Release

Middlesboro Campus-
Middlesboro will be having Pink and Jean Day on October 24th for Breast Cancer Awareness
month. Everyone is encouraged wear pink and jeans on that day. We are asking for
a $1.00 donation to be donated the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the privilege of
wearing your jeans that day.
In addition, we have a basket that is available to donate $1.00 for a chance to win.
The drawing will be held on October 30, 2013. The basket is located on the desk in
the admission office.

Cumberland Campus-
In honor of Our Board of Trustee Chairman Porter G. Peeples who is a breast cancer
survivor please wear pink on October 17, 2013. He was born and raised in Lynch, Kentucky.
He is a graduate of Southeast. Pink balloons will be released in his honor and other
breast cancer survivors as well as those who died. Meet at your campus Flag stand
to release the balloons at 12 Noon.
