    Miss Southeast Scholarship Pageant set for Feb. 6 on Cumberland campus

    The 26th annual Miss Southeast Scholarship Pageant will be held Saturday, Feb. 6 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Edsel Godbey Appalachian Center. The event, set for the Southeast Kentucky Community amp; Technical College Cumberland campus, will feature a competition among coeds representing each of the colleges five campuses located at Harlan, Cumberland, Middlesboro, Pineville and Whitesburg.

    Participants will be judged by a panel of three judges in areas of talent, poise, on-state question and evening gown. The winner will receive a tuition scholarship worth $1,000 and will represent the college at the prestigious Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival held each spring at Pineville.
