
Hal Rogers to appear live on Southeast TV
United States Congressman Harold Hal Rogers will be the guest on Southeast Live during a trip to Harlan County on Thursday, September 9.
Congressman Rogers will be interviewed, along with Southeast Kentucky Community amp; Technical College President Bruce Ayers, from 3:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Southeast channel 20 on Access Televisions local network.
Conducting the interview will be WYMT-TV meteorologist Brandon Robinson, a graduate of Southeast who now serves as an adjunct professor at the school.
Also on September 9, Congressman Rogers will be on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. recognizing Southeastern Kentucky Rehabilitation Industries, Inc., commitment to expansion and job creation made possible through a low-interest loan funded by Southeast Kentucky Economic Development. The event will be held at the SEKRI Cumberland facility located at 25140 Old Highway 119.
Rogers will also help dedicate the new Billips Avenue Bridge in Cumberland, tour Portal 31 in Lynch and address a joint meeting of the Tri-City and Harlan County chambers of commerce in Harlan that evening.
