
Fall 2010 Registration begins
Regular registration for the fall 2010 semester at Southeast Kentucky Community amp; Technical College will be held Monday, August 9 through Thursday, August 12 at each of the colleges full-service campuses located at Cumberland, Whitesburg, Harlan, Middlesboro and Pineville.
Offering over 50 programs, Southeast is celebrating its 50th year of serving Harlan, Bell and Letcher counties. The semester will begin Monday, August 16 and the term is slated to end December 3.
According to SKCTC registrar Karin Gibson, a variety of challenging classes are being offered during the fall that can lead to students acquisition of the associate degree, certificates and diplomas. The college also provides innovating workforce training opportunities.
The tuition rate for the school year 2010-11 is set at $130 per credit hour making SKCTC most accessible and also affordable, she said.
