The Medical Coding program prepares students to work in a physician-based billing and coding environment. Students in this program learn to:

- Apply codes for procedures, services, and diagnoses
- Create claims for physician payment
- Troubleshoot payment programs

This is a certificate program. Upon completion, you are eligible to sit for the CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Exam through the AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders).

Length of Program
Some certificates can be completed in a semester, while others can take longer to complete.
