- Go to class no matter what (even if you don’t have the book or your financial aid
isn’t complete)
- Your advisor is there to help you, but ultimately, you are responsible. Make sure
you are in the right classes
- Attendance impacts Financial Aid (if you aren’t going to classes/completing work,
you won’t receive financial aid)
- Each class has a Syllabus. This tells you everything you need to know about the class.
Print it, Review it
- Make sure your contact information (address, phone, email) stays up-to-date
- Academic Calendars are important to have available
- Blackboard is used for online & some face-to-face classes. (Blackboard Doesn’t have
Snow Days)
- If you can’t finish, drop the class, don’t stop going
- KCTCS ID badges must be worn at all times
- Southeast is a NO TOBACCO/VAPING college
- If you have questions, ask! We may not know the answers, but we will find someone who does
