Helpful Hints

Go to class no matter what (even if you don’t have the book or your financial aid isn’t complete)
Your advisor is there to help you, but ultimately, you are responsible. Make sure you are in the right classes
Attendance impacts Financial Aid (if you aren’t going to classes/completing work, you won’t receive financial aid)
Each class has a Syllabus. This tells you everything you need to know about the class. Print it, Review it
Make sure your contact information (address, phone, email) stays up-to-date
Academic Calendars are important to have available
Blackboard is used for online & some face-to-face classes. (Blackboard Doesn’t have Snow Days)
If you can’t finish, drop the class, don’t stop going
KCTCS ID badges must be worn at all times
Southeast is a NO TOBACCO/VAPING college
