Hi, my is April Thomas. I am a nursing student at Southeast kentucky Community and Technical College. I am 28 years old, non-traditional student. About three years ago I decided to go back to college. This is the nursing building. I'm getting ready to go to class. We're usually in class two days a week and we have clinicals two days a week. Today we are doing simulation lad. the lab is equipped with mannequins and any kind of skills we would need to do as nurses. Lunch was a win. Now we're going back to class in Burt's van. We're full! Hopefully I will have my nursing degree in a year and a half. When I do graduate it's going to pay off. So sometimes you've got to make sacrifices to get what you want out of life.
