The nursing program at Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College is structured as an academic/career mobility program and provides a seamless educational option in nursing with two exit points allowing students to choose a career as an LPN or RN. The application deadline for the SKCTC nursing program is March 1.
National board scores of SKCTC’s allied health students continues to be impressive
Test scores of Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College allied health students taking national board exams continue to be impressive, according to college officials.
Black Mountain Resources, LLC, has given Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College a gift of $70,000 for a scholarship endowment and for current scholarships. In addition, Black Mountain Resources has pledged an additional $40,000 for scholarships to be given over the next two years.
The annual Yoplait Day, held in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, was staged recently on the Middlesboro campus of Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College with Robin Wilhoit, WBIR-TV (Knoxville) news anchor as the keynote speaker
Red Ribbon Week was held recently on the Whitesburg campus of Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College. Representatives from the Whitesburg campus Unite group, Southeast Christian Fellowship and the Letcher County Prevention Project participated as well as various other students and members of the faculty and staff.
