Southeast Students Encouraged to Vote in Student Representative Election

Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College students are encouraged to participate in the election for the student representative on the SKCTC College Advisory Council.

 

Voting is currently underway and will remain open until 5 p.m. EST on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026. The winning candidate will be announced on Friday, Sept. 18.

The student representative will serve as a voice for SKCTC students on the College Advisory Council, helping ensure student perspectives, ideas and concerns are represented in discussions that shape the future of the college.

 

The position also provides an opportunity for the elected student to develop leadership skills, work alongside college and community leaders, and advocate for fellow students across Southeast’s campuses.

 

Students are encouraged to make their voices heard by casting their vote at SKCTC College Advisory Council Student Representative – Fill out form before the deadline.

 

Voting ends at 5 p.m. EST on Sept. 17. The winner will be announced on Sept. 18.
