100% Employment Success for SKCTC Turf Management Participants

Published on Jan 15, 2025

Eleven participants recently completed a Turf Management Program through SKCTC Workforce Solutions, with all participants securing employment.

The SKCTC program provided hands-on training in equipment maintenance and safety, aerification, top dressing, irrigation, vegetation control, chemical application and turf maintenance. Participants also engaged in paid on-the-job training, gaining up to 480 hours of practical experience with partnered employers.

“This program demonstrates the value of targeted training and partnerships in addressing workforce needs,” said Sherri Clark, dean of Workforce Solutions. “We’re proud of these participants and their commitment to building skills for success.”
