The event is set for Friday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. and will feature the SKCTC Community Choir, the SKCTC Recorder Ensemble, Higher Ground, the Mt. Sinai Spirituals, and other guest artists. The evening will conclude with a community carol sing, inviting everyone to join in one final hymn.
“This program is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season with our faculty, staff, students, and community,” said Kate Handzlik, SKCTC director of arts and culture. “We’re thrilled to showcase the incredible local talent that makes our community so special.
The choir and recorder ensemble will present traditional and contemporary carols such as “Away in a Manger,” “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming,” “Ding Dong Merrily on High,” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”
