Message from the President - 6/11/2020
Dear Southeast Family,
Once again I want to express my sincere thanks to all of you – faculty, staff, and students—for staying the course and completing spring semester 2020. You stepped up during extraordinary circumstances. With information changing daily or sometimes hourly, you proved what I have always known—that you are exceptional.
Now that we have begun the second phase of reopening the college for in-person services, I want to remind you to do your best to accommodate our students while continuing to follow the social distancing guidelines. Let’s keep everyone #HealthyAtWork.
Our fall registration numbers are down from this point last year, so please encourage students to register for fall classes. Life will go on after COVID-19. Our students’ educational goals will continue after the pandemic has leveled off, and we should strive to help them in their efforts.
Speaking of goals, Southeast’s Respiratory Care 2020 graduates have set a new record. For the sixth consecutive year, graduates from the program have achieved a 100% pass rate on their licensure exams. Congratulations Austin Fields, Tiffany Gibson, Jesse Goodson, Destiny Hall, Cody Reedy, and Kristy Spangler! You have made us #SKCTCProud!
Thank you again for all that you do as we continue to forge ahead helping our students build better lives. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
Warmest regards,
Vic
