Virtually all manufactured products depend on precision machining. The Machine Tool Technology program was developed from employer input - employers who know the demand for fabricators of machined parts, specialized tooling molds, dies and prototypes.

Get training in conventional machining and computer numerical control machining (CNC). Get your future in gear at Southeast!

What can I do?

Trained machinists are in high demand. Qualified machine tool technicians are needed to program, set up, operate, and supervise precision machine tools. Machine tool graduates also can become toolmakers who produce various jigs, fixtures, punches and dies, models or other specialized tooling and machines. Machinists work in welding shops, maintenance departments for companies, manufacturers and more.
