National History Day celebrated at Southeast

Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College was host March 25 to the National History Day competition involving over 80 area students who wrote papers, developed websites, created documentaries and wrote and performed theatrical productions as well as presented exhibits to a panel of judges comprised of college faculty and staff from the Cumberland campus. Students participating represented schools from Harlan, Letcher, Floyd and Pike counties. Larry LaFollette, historical information management program coordinator at SKCTC, coordinated the event.
