Lynch native Dr. Jack Cope, who now lives in Harlan, recently made a generous gift to Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College. Dr. Cope donated his childhood home in Lynch to the College. The home belonged to his mother, Bea Cope, who passed away earlier this year. SKCTC President W. Bruce Ayers accepted the deed to the property, which is valued of more than $100,000. The College is exploring several exciting opportunities for using the home to support the College and the community.
