Super Sunday celebrated at Middlesboro Church

The second Super Sunday event sponsored by Southeast Kentucky Community & Techncal College, an initiative to create awareness and excitement for higher education among African Americans and individuals of color, was held Feb. 12 at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Middlesboro. Faculty and staff from SKCTC attended the morning workshop service where Dr. W. Bruce Ayers addressed the congregation about the many higher education opportunities. Following the workship service, college personnel conducted a fair. Over 125 people attended the service with many receiving information about various programs offered at the college as well as gaining information regarding enrolling and financial aid opportunities.
