National History Day competition held on Cumberland campus

Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College served as host for the annual National History Day District 8 competition held March 28 on the Cumberland Campus. High school and junior high students from throughout the region came to Harlan County to showcase their exhibits, videos and websites, all dealing with various historic themes. College faculty and other members of the local community served as judges. Larry LaFollette, SKCTC archivist, coordinated the event.
