Veterans Day tribute held on Cumberland campus

A Veterans Day observance was held Nov. 11 on the Cumberland campus with students, faculty and staff joining to pay tribute to those who have served their country in the armed forces. The event was directed by Veria Cookie Baldwin, associate dean of student affairs. Members of the Cumberland VFW Honor Guard led the tribute with the presentation of the colors, the playing of taps and the firing of a 21-gun salute honoring military personnel who have fallen in battle.
