Miss Southeast Scholarship Pageant 2011

The annual Miss Southeast Scholarship Pageant was held Feb. 5 in the Godbey Appalachian Center on the Cumberland campus. Six students competed for the crown and were judged on their poise, talent and an on-stage question. The winner for 2011 was Megan Brooke Sampson of Middlesboro. The runner up was Erica Casey Sergent of Baxter. Amanda Caitlin Helton, a resident of Pathfork, was first runner up. The winner, Ms. Sampson, will receive a $1,000 scholarship to attend SKCTC and will represent the college at the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival.
